If yours looked fine then I would guess it was like you said, a reaction to the stress of excitement (adrenaline?) or a slight allergic reaction. Do you have pics on here of your tattoos? If it is a direct reaction to the tat, say an allergic reaction, such reactions can get worse. Someone that gets very ill from a bee sting can in turn die from the next sting. A progressive reaction if you will. My opinion would be to hold off until you have a better understanding of your tat illness. Perhaps it's just a coincidence and you don't have anything to worry about. Then again you may get a really awesome tat and be dead 24 hours later. :? But you are so creative that it might be neat to do some henna designs yourself.
